Описание к видео Umarex UX Iconix 12 shot 3D printed magazine vs 10 shot

I was looking at my spare magazines sitting on shelf in gun room and thought "that Beeman Commander magazine looks very similar to Umarex Iconix magazine", got the digital verniers out and did some measuring and sure enough all the important bits are the same size, I then tried the 12 shot 3D printed magazine for a Beeman 1085 and that also fitted perfect and the Umarex UX Iconix actually shoots slightly tighter groups using this 12 shot magazine with the H&N Baracuda 15 pellets (the JSB pellets are a lot better but I'm running low on them at moment)

Did manage to briefly try the Iconix on the 35 metre range at weekend but did not get chance to video it, accuracy is very good on a full 3000 psi/207 bar charge of air and it had no trouble shooting 40mm groups in the very windy conditions, at the longer ranges the lack of a regulator did show up after around 30 shots as the point of aim gradually started to drop off and by shot 90 when the air pressure had dropped to 2000 psi/137 bar the pellets where dropping by 60mm and power had dropped from 11.4 fpe to 8 fpe, still plenty good enough for close range ratting or tin can busting and still well worth it's incredibly low cost, at closer ranges that most people will use this rifle at this drop off is not as noticable, I do wonder how the higher power versions perform as this power curve must be even worse.
Also fitted a cheap £30 used BSA 3-9x40AO scope now which is perfect match and looks and performs spot on.
My next nearest in cost PCP rifles do perform better but they did cost over £100 more, the SMK PR900W and Beeman Commander II are both also built more conventionally so can be tuned and well have a much longer service life span, still very happy with the Iconix and it's a perfect budget friendly entry level gun and also a cheap all weather capable non precious pest control tool and easy to use guest gun.

Also managed to modify a Walther Rotex/RM8 fill probe to fit the Iconix as well, always handy to have a spare fill probe and not much in the way of spare parts for Iconix in UK at moment, the walther probe just needed 2mm machining off the tip so that it could push all the way in, it did work fine before I machined the 2mm off but that was only part that differed in dimensions to original probe so wanted to keep it safe as possible.
