In this video I am looking at the Line 6 HX Stomp XL and seeing it it can replace my entire live rig! A lot of the gigs I do at the moment are gigs that don't require any backline on stage, so it's typically a pedalboard into the PA with the whole band playing on in ears. I've always been a fan of taking a bunch of different pedals to these gigs with me as options, but my buddies at Line 6 challenged me to see if I could re-create my entire rig with just the HX Stomp XL.

The footage is from a corporate show I played with some friends of mine in Oxford Town Hall, we had to do a very wide range of music from pop to rock so I needed a versatile set of tones to get me through the gig.

In the video I am using my Jackson Adrian Smith SDX and recording the HX Stomp XL direct into my DAW. In the live footage I am playing my Stanford Guitars Crossroad Thinline 30 and Marquee, along with my Shergold Masquerader. The live guitar is being recorded from the HX Stomp XL headphone out into my Tascam DR60 and blended with the live camera audio.
