How to install a locker in a Jeep Wrangler JK

Follow along as we install a lunchbox locker on a JK Dana 30 front axle! Step by step tear down will get you installed and back on the road with plenty of traction for any adventure ! Parts used and torque specs below!

Torq specs:

2007 - 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU Front Dana Super 30 (186 mm / 7.8")

(2) Axle shaft nut torque: 100 ft*lb
(10) Differential cover bolt torque: 30 ft*lb
(4) Differential cap bolt torque: 45 ft*lb
(10) Ring gear bolt torque: 80 ft*lb
(3) hub bearing bolt torque: 75 ft*lb
21 mm caliper carrier bolt torque: 120 ft*lb
13 mm caliper bolt torque: 26 ft*lb
