It took me a while to get this video done (the editor made it look like we were lip synching out of sync lol). Anyway...

After exploring Nakamise Street (and not buying anything much apart from a kimono-wearing Hello Kitty doll, some umbrellas and fans, even a kimono.. we went for lunch at a quaint little ramen shop called Ippin. Good stuff, and doesn't break your budget either ;)

After that, we walked back to the station..taking a detour through the shopping streets of Asakusa. And of course, THAT was the time we (or more accurately, I) went a little crazy shopping.. haha! Shoes, shoes, shoes...! I bought 2 more and wore them immediately to try and curb the pain I was already suffering from yesterday's new boots lol. This is a great place to shop, much better than Takeshita Street in my opinion - better price, more options, and less crowded.

After that, we finally made our way back to our cozy little studio in Oyama... freshened up, prayed, had a snack.. and out the door again. Destination: Shinjuku Station, in order to secure our express bus tickets to Kawaguchiko, and also get train tix for tomorrow's adventure (that was unsuccessful, however..lol).

Anyway..

We went back to Asakusa, in search of Tendon Soba Udon since Ilyana read some good reviews about it... she's my food guide girl - I can rely on her to guide us to the eateries while I normally navigate with the help of Google Maps ;)

After a short walk to the Sumida River, and viewing the Tokyo Skytree, we called it a night. It's gonna be a long day tomorrow so we had best rest early, lol.
