Former Liberal MP Nicolle Flint has claimed decriminalising marijuana would be a “terrible outcome” for Australia.

Ms Flint joined Sky News host Paul Murray to discuss the rise of Legalise Cannabis Party members being elected in Upper House seats.

“The health risks are well known,” she said.

“I just find it quite extraordinary that these people are even getting elected.

“But we do get some quirky independents from time to time.”
