Theory:
Sonic and Amy were Childhood Friends, they did everything together… mostly because Sonic didn’t know anyone else who didn’t want his power for themselves. Longclaw was already training Sonic to become the guardian of the Master Emerald… So Sonic and Amy really didn’t have any spare time to spend with eachother, but Sonic promised Amy that they would be best friends for all eternity. Early one morning something went wrong… Amy made a blue flower crown for Sonic and was excited to see his reaction… only to be horrified at the sight of bloody arrows and broken glass, Amy knew the the Echidnas must have found them, also assuming that Longclaw was gone and Sonic killed. Years went by and Amy never forgot what happened… but she made a new friend, a smart two-tailed Fox who loved inventing, A few months later he also disappeared… Amy, now heartbroken set off to find her lost friend. She portals to earth and succeeds… and also reunites with a long-lost friend whom she thought was dead… Sonic the Hedgehog
