Street riders have another choice from Arai to meet their everyday riding needs. The Arai Defiant helmet is designed for real-world situations and speeds - not a racing helmet adapted to normal life on two wheels. That means it serves the needs of riders even better with increased functionality, comfort and performance.

New styling is aggressive but retains the iconic Arai shape and is instantly recognizable as part of the family. The organic shell shape is made from hand-laid fiberglass and uses IC-4 upper intake vents and ACR-4 exhaust vents for incredible airflow across the rider's head. A chinbar vent is multipurpose in that it flows straight to the rider's face or up into the shield for anti-fog performance depending on what the rider selects.

The botom of the helmet uses water-resistant material to keep from absorbing moisture that drips down or splashes up. A flared spoiler and retractable chin curtain push air around the edges and prevent it from entering the helmet under the rider's chin. This creates more downforce for extra stability and also secures a quieter ride. Moisture-wicking cheekpads and comfort liner are removable and washable and have small foam inserts which can be removed as needed for a completely custom fit.
