Описание к видео Classic Motors/Willys Jeep (1944): Known to have taken part in World War II

Willys Jeep was built in December 1944 for American Army in Willys Motors factory in USA and transported to England and, later to France/Belgium. It is known to have taken part in the "Battle of the Bulge" during the later part of World War II. It was blown up during the war, and was discarded and abandoned in France by the American forces like a lot of vehicles used in the war. It was found by a farmer who repaired it and used for his farming work for a number of years. It was later found and returned to the UK in 1997 for restoration. Displayed at Farnborough car show on 27th April 2024.
