ss Norway NCL Cruise Ship Tour 1997 in New York City

I worked aboard the ss Norway as a Purser from 1994 through 1996. In 1997, I left to go work for Holland America Line. I went back aboard in New York City to visit the ship with a goal of saying hello to old crew member friends but also documenting my home for the prior 3 years.

You'll find public areas as well as a number of behind the scenes crew areas in this video along with some chats with my former co-workers.

The quality of the video isn't the best - technology wasn't what it is today, in 1997. But now that the grand lady is no longer with us, it's a wonderful souvenir and nostalgic memory of a place we can no longer visit.
