Wintery Walk through Terraced Rice Fields in Mountain Village | Isarigami, Japan 4K Ambience

Isarigami is a traditional farming village tucked in the mountains of Hyogo, Japan. The rice fields are terraced with stone walls that are hundreds of years old, perhaps even older. We start our walk today at the bottom edge of the village by a rushing river, which in a few months will be diverted to supply irrigation water and flood the fields. We walk beside the river and small waterfalls, up through the fields and by traditional homes.

Throughout the walk we are treated to the relaxing sounds of flowing water and birds singing. It's very peaceful at this hour of the morning.

Sorry for the creaky backpack at the first shrine, I was a bit distracted and it took me a few minutes to notice. I now know not to go with that jacket-backpack combo. There's always something new to learn.
