Explorations of chroma key compositing and destructive analog reproduction techniques in which individual performances are composited through transfer from one VHS tape to another, and then back again simultaneously along with the subsequent performance. With each cycle of transfer and reproduction each previous performance gets further degraded visually and auditorily. This technique allows for the flattening of temporal linearity in the palimpsest of the creative/destructive process, as the past layers degenerate while accommodating the new.
