The Guwahati edition of Festivals for the Future programme comprised of a three-day intensive course on the core principles of Festival Management facilitated by leading UK experts David Micklem and Angela McSherry and Divya Bhatia from India. The course was attended by 23 selected delegates from diverse and multi-disciplinary festivals across the country and was presented in association with the Government of Assam. Talks by local festival experts, networking events, an evening on the Brahmaputra Cruise for a true taste of Assamese music and culture were other highlights of the event. #FestivalsForFuture
