BLM Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum Virtual Tour (Part 1)

BLM’s Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum in southwest Colorado offers hands-on learning experiences about the Four Corners region, famed for its rich cultural landscape and an estimated 30,000 archaeological sites. More than 10,000 years of history can be experienced through the museum’s rotating special exhibits. The museum also highlights contemporary artwork from local artists who participate in BLM’s Artist-In-Residence program, with stunning interpretations of the scenery at the Canyons of the Ancients National Monument.

During the summer, the museum typically offers behind-the-scenes guided tours of its archives, artifacts and research center. This virtual tour allows you to experience the work involved in curating more than three million artifacts from the comfort of your home.
