With so many new fully electric mid-size SUVs entering into the Australian market, if a model is to succeed, it really needs a point of difference. In the case of the 2025 Leapmotor C10 its differentiating factor is its price. Starting from a tick under $46,000 drive-away, it is the most affordable entrant in its segment – and by some margin.

That's right; the C10 is considerably cheaper than the best-selling Tesla Model Y and other new Chinese models, including the Xpeng G6 and Deepal S07. This small SUV pricing comes despite the Leapmotor still coming with a 69.9kWh battery that delivers a WLTP-rated driving range of 420km, which is rather good value on paper.
