WHAT IS THE CHILDREN'S DAY?
It is a half-day event of fun and games for children aged 5 to 10 years old. The centerpiece of the event is the celebration of the Children's Mass and the sharing of food.

WHO JOINS THE CHILDREN'S DAY?
KIDS aged 5-12 years old will join this year's Children's Day, numbering to about 300, plus 50 or so facilitators who are members of the Children's Ministry and the Sangguniang Kabataan.

WHY CELEBRATE CHILDREN'S DAY?
"Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to him, saying, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it." (Luke 18:15-17)

As we have known and been raised into, Christmas is a celebration for the children - the San Antonio de Padua Parish, through the Children's Ministry, is perpetuating that tradition through the Children's Day.
