They claim they were trying to help. And they use plausible deniability to justify their actions.
With covert narcissist this is called Death By a Thousand Cuts for a reason. The things that they do. The small ways that they devalue and they create this sense of worthlessness. They sabotage your efforts. They undermine your competence."
