2024 Update:
Ciara Leinaʻala Lacy focuses on Kanaka Maoli cinema. She is the first Native Hawaiian woman to have her work screened at the Sundance Film Festival with "This Is The Way We Rise" (2021),. Her films have also been shown at Berlinale, Netflix, PBS, ABC, Al Jazeera, and the Criterion Collection. Find her work at ciaralacy.com.

Beau Bassett is an award-winning Native Hawaiian filmmaker and attorney. His first short film, "TEWETEWE" (2006), aired on PBS and led to his acceptance as a 2008 Sundance Institute NativeLab Producing Fellow. As a Deputy Public Defender in Honolulu, Beau has represented a diverse array of clients. He is deeply involved in the Native Hawaiian community, a graduate of the Kamakakuokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies, fluent in the Hawaiian language, and an experienced Hawaiian language translator. Beau is also certified in ho'oponopono, a Native Hawaiian form of dispute resolution, by the Queen Liliʻuokalani Children’s Center.
