#4 East Knox vs #5 Trimble Football D7 Region 27 Quarterfinals

Shane Knepp scored his fourth touchdown of the night with just 38 seconds to play to finish off a 35-28 come from behind victory for #4 East Knox over small-school power Trimble in the D7 Region 27 Quarterfinals.

​The Tomcats (8-3) raced out to a 14-0 lead by the end of the 1st quarter on a pair of scoring runs by Bryce Downs, who would add 2 more explosive TD runs in the second quarter to help give Trimble a 28-21 halftime lead. In the second half, the Bulldogs (10-2) defense clamped down and held the Tomcats without a point while Peyton Lester and the passing attack started to find their stride. 

​Lester would find Knepp for his third TD reception late in the third quarter to make it a 28-27 game after a missed PAT before an exciting fourth quarter saw the senior duo hookup on an amazing game-winning score in the final minute.
