World's Greatest Shave

Thirty-nine of our Year 12 students and several staff members made a hair-raising difference by cutting or shaving their hair in support of those battling blood cancer. They joined forces with one of Australia's favourite charities, the World's Greatest Shave, together with Leukaemia Foundation which has been offering life-changing support, funding leading-edge research, and campaigning for change for over 25 years!

This incredible cause directly aligns with our school values, as it not only strives for change and discovery but also provides practical and emotional support to the individuals and families who are affected.

Our Year 12s raised a jaw-dropping $17,765! Plus, the hair they cut either goes towards creating wigs for those who need them or is transformed into compost and floating hair booms to absorb oil spills. Talk about making a difference in more ways than one!

We couldn't be more proud of our Year 12 chop champions and our amazing staff who supported them every snip of the way. They've shown the world that our school community is a cut above the rest – with hearts as big as their newly-shorn heads, dedication that's longer than any mullet, and a spirit of fun that makes you want to join the bald and the beautiful!
