【MMD: Disney】Bad Apple

Finally back with another Disney couple video! I think the song choice is obvious for this one, if only for the title. The lyrics don't match up quite as well but I couldn't not use this motion after seeing the title. This was one of the very first motions I found when I was testing out the program, but it's also been one of the hardest to deal with because the dance didn't seem to quite sync up and the original Snow White I was using, before BryanRush released his beautiful model, had a lot of issues with her legs leaving her dress, so that was a pain to try to correct. I tried many motions and edits of the song (discovering last minute a new version I had missed before but I already had all my stage changes lined up with the camera so I couldn't make the update). I ended up using a previous version of the dance because it matched up with the camera better and the 'update' for the dance had the models out of sync and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.


Then I got the idea in my head to convert the dwarves and other models to use as background characters so that took a lot of effort to separate the material to make it easier to pose (keep in mind they all still have no bones, I just moved the material around in mmd to make the poses, but if anyone is interested in rigging now that the materials are easier to work with, I'm happy to share the models)

Keeping all that in mind, please excuse Charming's awkward arm movements. I had most of it fixed before I went and changed all the motions, and I was too tired to go back and fix his arms. Next time I use him, I'll for sure not skip out on that detail, but this his been in my wip folder so long I really just wanted to get it uploaded.
