Greater Singapore Transit Map - Google Drawing Editing Timelapse

I've recently completed an alternative MRT Map graphic which I've been working on slowly since the announcement of LTA's LTMP2040 outlining the possibility of a new rail line and several stations.

The Map shown is lot more informational than previous maps. Geographical accuracy has been implemented in areas that are easily walkable and have well known and recognizable geographical features such as waterways. These areas include the Marina Bay-River Quay District, Punggol-Sengkang Region and Changi Airport Area. This was done without compromising the simplicity and neatness of the map by enlarging these areas. Aswell as a geographic enhancement, I have decided to included johors future BRT systems and its connection to the possible RTS Link at woodlands. To reduce confusion in the Changi Airport Area whereby some terminals are accessed directly by the MRT, some by Skytrain and some by Shuttle Bus, the area has been enlarged to include both the Skytrain and Shuttle Bus Systems. All stations that are unconfirmed have not been included leaving some line sections blank, i.e CRL West and the Pink Line. Lastly I have tried to include small artistic touches to the outline of the island to make it recognizable as the classic shape of Singapore, that said, this was done by making the lines already resemble the outline of Singapore before creating the island outline as the map should still prioritize the metro lines.
