Follow along as I sew a decorative patch onto a lined Leather Vest.
This Skeleton / Skull and Crossbones patch has a lot of angle and curves so you will need to pivot a lot. Make sure to always have your needle down and in the leather before lifting the presser foot to pivot.

I use a size 18 needle and heavy topstitching thread to sew patches with my TYPICAL GC0302 industrial walking foot machine

For this client, I stitched the patches through the lining but you can open up the hem of vest or jacket to sew patches if you don’t want the pockets or lining affected.
