KNO leader Seilen Haokip: We’re not secessionists, but separate administration vital for Kuki safety

KNO's spokesperson and senior leader spoke to News9's Kartikeya Sharma in an exclusive conversation. He said that they are not a secessionist groups and comply with all the SoO ground rules as mandated by the Govt. He also highlighted that the groups only wield weapons for self defence and don't use them against security forces. He also added that kukis now demand for a separate administration, as only that can guarantee the safety of the Kuki people and they are hopeful that the centre will extend the SoO Pact even if the State Govt is opposed to it.
