Bowl the perfect strike, in SLOW MOTION!

• A study by the United States Bowling Congress found that the ideal speed of a bowling ball when it hits the pins is 17mph.
• The ideal weight of a bowling ball should be 10% of your body weight, up to 16 pounds.
• The first indoor bowling lane was in New York City in 1840, however evidence of bowling can be traced back 4,000 years Ancient Greece and Egypt.
• A bowling lane is 60 feet long, reaching from the foul line to the center of the first pin.
• Lanes are coated with mineral oil to help maintain ball speed. The edges are lightly oiled and the last 20 feet are left dry. This helps balls with spin grip the surface better at the end of the shot.
