The neurologist Lucy Brown from the Albert Einstein University of medicine in New York explains what happens in the brain when we get in love.
As a biologist I am interested especially in the functions of the brain.
Mac Leans wrote a lot about the triune brain that we have inherited from our ancestor the primates (the limbic system) and the reptilian brain.
I believe that many of us have to struggle with the signals from the Amygdala in the limbic system and impulses from the reptilian brain.

Some neurologists means that we do not have three brains, but noone can deny that we have a limbic system that is almost identical with some primates and that some people have problems with the signals from the amygdala.
