Many visitors come to China for a great trek. While the majority hiked the Tiger Leaping Gorge, much interesting treks can be found in the north close to Tibet and Yunnan's highest peak, Meili Snow Mountain, about 200 km north of Shangri-La.

Yubeng Village is a Tibetan village at the foot of Meili Snow Mountain. There is only one road linking the village to the outside world and riding a mule or hiking have become the main ways. This is why Yubeng Village is such a great destination for trekking enthusiasts.
