I've made quite a few pens in my day. None have been this soft or had quite the look of this one. It's quite possibly my new favorite pen that I've made.

I know very little about leather, or working with leather (as you may notice if you watch my previous video on making a leather wallet). I'm told this is chrome tanned leather, and has different properties than veg tan leather. I don't really know what those differences would be, so if you try this, be prepared for some adjustments. Using epoxy was my first instinct, but if I'd have thought about it at all, CA glue would have been the better choice, to cut down on the mess and the waiting for the epoxy to cure, and it didn't seem to adhere to the finished surface of the leather that well.
