YEP, BOTH had to be done. Insofar as the exhaust was concerned, that existing 'Holey' brand muffler had to go, and since I had to replace it anyway, I decided to S-Flow it one-shot, and the sound, oh my. That little 1.2L Renault engine may not be the most powerful thing on earth, but boy does it make a nice sound!

The other thing to get done was to have the roof spoiler fitted. This was more for aesthetic value than anything else, since personally, I felt the rear end of the Savvy was a bit too bulbous for my liking. Again, I want to reemphasize that this is a personal choice, some might like it without, some with, there's no right or wrong to it whatsoever, styling has and always will be a subjective matter.

Yep, as you all know I'm a sucker for the underdog, and I vividly remember how this 1992 Ford Laser 1.6S was totally overshadowed by the mighty TX3 1.8i when they were launched simultaneously, along with the sedan variant. Everyone lusted after the TX3 hot-hatch (and rightly so, it's still one hell of a car) and others with families went for the more practical Sedan variant, leaving this hatchback rather unloved. Trivia: This generation of Lasers were one of the first cars to offer full-cover door-cards.

So here we go again folks, this is gonna be a lot of fun, I can feel it already, and while the car is in buy & drive condition, there's a lot of work to be done for sure, which is where the fun part comes in :)
