The Czech Electric Motorcycles Drill One is an electric dirt bike that utilizes electric motorcycle and mountain bike components that results in a lightweight electric dirt bike that falls into the lightweight e bike category. The Drill One has an electric motor that produces a nominal 11kW and a peak output of 15kW, which is an impressive amount of power for a bike this size. It features a Manitou Dorado front fork and an Elka rear shock. The handlebars are Pro Taper MTB bars with a 3" rise and are mounted to a direct mount stem. To stop the bike, it's fitted with Hayes Dominion 4 piston brakes. CZEM helped update this test model with a 21 inch Excel Moto Wheel and that has been a big improvement on this bike. Is it a Sur Ron Destroyer? Due to testing, that question is yet to be answered in this video but I did want to address why the CZEM Drill One would be compared to a Sur Ron X. Despite their differences in price, both electric dirt bikes are lightweight bikes weighing in at 115-120 pounds. They both utilize mountain bike brakes, handlebar, stem, fork and shock. They are both mid drive chain driven motors. They both have similar battery capacity. They both have motocross style wheels mounted to mountain bike style hubs. At this point in time, there are no 2 electric dirt bikes of this category that are more similar than the CZEM Drill One and Sur Ron X.
