Learn how to make music on the black keys by starting with some basic patterns off the Gb Major scale. Watch and follow along~ there are some easy patterns you can use to make music of your own. Start simple and work your hand to hand syncopation and rhythms. And remember to clue in to the numbers as you move around~ they have a sound and once you hear it, it will never go away. Exercises like this give us a chance to learn the Major scale and chords in a key other than our learning key of C. In this case, Gb Major gives you some really fun shapes and patterns to play with rhythmically and take as far as you want.
