Dr. Louis Komjathy (Ph.D., Religious Studies, Boston University) is a leading independent scholar-educator, author and translator. Along with Kate Townsend, he is the co-director of the Daoist Foundation, an independent non-profit Daoist religious and educational organization, and co-editor of Square Inch Press, an independent Daoist publisher. To date, Dr. Komjathy has published over thirty academic articles and book chapters, and fourteen books, including Daode Jing: A Contextual, Contemplative and Annotated Bilingual Translation.
