The most challenging part about the Fire Knight himself is undoubtedly his shield. From stages 1-6 the Fire Knight has a 5-hit shield; from stages 7-9 it increases to a 7-hit shield; from stages 10-12 it will be a 10-hit shield.

While this shield is active the Fire Knight is immune to all debuffs and turn-meter control effects and he takes 80% reduced damage. Whenever he takes a turn, he will also attack, dealing increasing damage the more shield stacks he has remaining, which poses a serious damage threat to your team. On top of this he will heal whenever he takes a turn and fully regenerate his shield
