This video continues with the idea of finding the volume of Cylinders by looking at example problems from the Khan Academy exercise linked below. Cylinders are prism like three dimensional shapes that have circular bases and the same cross sectional area along their length.

To find the volume, multiply the area of the base of the cylinder by the height of the cylinder. The area of the base of the circle comes from the formula for the area of circles. The formula for the volume of the cylinder is V = pi*r^2*h, where pi = 3.14159..., r is the radius of the base, and h is the height of the cylinder.
