There's been a slow but gradual change in my industry - and the amount of energy / time I need to put into making my films have been slashed drastically over the last few years.

Here is my attempt at broadly categorizing how and why this is the case, and how you can actually end up producing movies at a rate 100 times faster than Pixar (based off of their own production setup from 2008)

At the end of the day, the question still stands whether people prefer the gigantic labour intensive effort that Pixar brings to the table, but for every year that passes, that quality gap between indie artists and big budget studios seems to be ever-shrinking...

I just want to get it out there in case it was missed in the video aswell, but...
Of course there will always be major differences when you compare a piece of work made by 2 hands and by 400 hands - but the fact that a single artist can produce a high quality shot in less than a day is still a huge feat for in our time imo
