This Custom Shop Telecaster features an all rosewood body. Because of rosewood's weight, the body is semi-hollow, but it still has the rock-solid feel of a solid body. The satin finish is smooth and doesn't leave fingerprints on the wood. The neck is rosewood as well, and it's carved to a beefy early 60's oval 'C' shape. The fretboard, also rosewood, features 21 narrow jumbo frets with a 9.5" radius and dot inlays. Electronically, this guitar is up to date. It has two Twisted Tele Single Coil pickups wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and Greasebucket tone circuit, a simple tone knob that rolls off highs without adding bass. The bridge is a 3-saddle vintage style string-thru-body Tele bridge with threaded saddles. Fender Vintage "F" stamped tuners keep everything locked down. Other features include a 3-ply black pickguard, chrome hardware and Custom Shop deluxe hardshell case.
