RU Admission 2023-24
You can start applying on 8 January 2024.
The last day to submit your preliminary application is 17 January 2024.
Check if you’re eligible in February 2024.
The final application period begins in 26 January 2024.
Don’t forget to finish your final application by the end of 11 February 2024.

The admission test will be on 5, 6, and 7 March 2024.

Eligible List
The Rajshahi University has released the Eligible List Result 2024. You can check the result on the admission.ru.ac.bd website for all Groups and Units. The RU Admission Short List 2024 was published on February 8, 2024, for eligible candidates. The Eligible List for A, B, and C Units has been published. Only eligible candidates will have the chance to fill out the Final Admission Form.

Admit Card Download
The Rajshahi University Admit Card 2023 is out. It’s available for A, B, and C Units for the Admission Test 2023-24. You can get the RU Admission Test Admit Card from admission.ru.ac.bd. Only final applicants can download it, and the download period is from February 15 to February 18, 2024. Use your SSC and HSC information to log in and download the admit card.

Remember, you can’t join the Admission Test 2023-24 without the RU Admit Card. The test is scheduled from May 29 to May 31, 2023. To get your RU Admission Admit Card 2023


The Admission Test will follow the HSC Examination 2023 Syllabus.
The total marks for the Admission Test are 100, excluding the B Unit.
The test will be in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
Each unit will have 60 marks for MCQs and 40 marks for the Written Exam.

Seat Plan:
The University of Rajshahi has released a detailed seat plan for the admission test. You can find the RU Seat Plan 2024 for all units with detailed information. Usually, the university announces the seat locations a few days before the admission test for each unit.

Rajshahi University Admission Test Result:
The Rajshahi University Admission Result 2024 is available on the website admission.ru.ac.bd. The result for A, C, and B Units has been published today, August 2, 2024, on the ru.ac.bd result website. After this, the subject allocation result will be shared. The admission process begins after the interviews. Once admissions from the merit list are done, those from the waiting list will be processed gradually. The entire admission process is expected to be finished by September 25, 2024.

Admission Eligibilities

To apply for admission to Rajshahi University, the candidate needs certain qualifications. However, for the most current information, you should check the detailed admission circular for the 2023-24 academic year, which will be available after publication. The eligibility criteria for Rajshahi Univeristy Admission 2023-2024 are not expected to change.

SSC or Equivalent Passing Year: 2018, 2019, 2020, or 2021
HSC Passing Year: 2023 or 2022
Total GPA: 7.00 in SSC and HSC, with a GPA of 3.00 in each of SSC and HSC from the Humanities Group.
Total GPA: 7.50 in SSC and HSC, with a GPA of 3.50 in each of SSC and HSC from the Business Studies Group.
Total GPA: 8.00 in SSC and HSC, with a GPA of 3.50 in each of SSC and HSC from the Science Group.
GPA will be calculated with the fourth subject(s).
