Despite having all the knowledge of Vastu Shastra, why does one still face difficulty in finding a Vastu compliant house? Why do people face the so much difficulty in the selection process? I receive numerous floor plans and most of them get rejected by me. I would like to highlight an important point here that one should always be very strict during selection. When selecting a property, one should not fall for every option, by thinking that there can be remedy for each.

2:18 Now one should ask the question that why the selection process has become so difficulty? Those searching for a new apartment can connect with this pain, where months have passed without any success. It is clearly visible that builders these days are highly insensitive towards Vastu Shastra. One faces pain, miseries & problems after spending a huge amount on the purchase of the property. After moving to the new house one starts facing issues such as divorce.

3:35 First & foremost, I will highlight the mistakes one generally make during the selection of an apartment. Firstly, most of the people still do not know the facing of the property.

4:07 Secondly, people are generally unaware of the exact facing. Suppose one purchases a flat considering it is East facing. East has two parts, North-East and South-East. It's a possibility that the main door is towards the South-East. According to me it is a big issue because South-East entrances are wrong, but you are considering it as East.

4:28 Third, if it is rectangular shape flat? People generally write directions on the corner edges of the floor plan. This is wrong! Each main direction comes 90 degrees from the other. If it is not a perfect square, then the corners of the flat cannot be North, South, East, West.

5:34 As you know the shape of the property matters a-lot in Vastu Shastra. Apartments are usually of irregular in shape. But you are not aware of this, and you might not even consider such issue while selection.

Sometimes North and East facing properties are worst than South or West facing properties. It is a big myth that one faces problems because he/she has a South or West facing property. It is totally wrong. Many North or East properties have bad internal layout which makes them worst than South or West facing ones.

10:26 Third point to consider when rejecting a property is whether you are getting a bedroom in the SW or not!As mentioned earlier, the allocation of rooms is very important. Many people reject properties based on balconies. If they find a balcony in the South-West, they reject the property. I would like to inform you that there are remedies for such kind of Vastu dosh.

11:28 When purchasing a flat where someone used to live, for such properties one should try to find the history. One should find the reason behind sale of the property. Is bankruptcy or insolvency a reason behind the sale? Did any kind of divorce or separation took place in the inhabitants of that apartment?
