Скачать или смотреть New Safety Precautions Required at Playgrounds Re-opening Throughout the County

Now that playgrounds have started to gradually re-open across the county, people are being urged to continue following new safety guidelines, which include wearing face coverings and practicing physical distancing of six feet or more.

The process began on Monday, and Montgomery County Planning Board Chair Casey Anderson says it will take about two-weeks to re-open the county's 274 playgrounds.

Here's a list of some playground locations that have re-opened so far as of Tuesday according to Montgomery Parks officials:

Laytonia Recreational Park
The Miracle League playground at South Germantown Recreational Park
Black Hill Regional Park
Strawberry Knolls Local Park
East Norbeck Local Park

With Montgomery County currently in Phase 2 of re-opening, indoor facilities, including the Wheaton Sports Pavilion, and tennis centers have also re-opened.
