Rain is returning to northern Ohio tonight into early Saturday.

Rain and even a few storms are likely tonight with areas of heavy rain at times. With saturated soil, it won't take much to cause some flooding over the next 48 hours. If you live close to a river or in a typical flood prone area — please be alert this weekend.

It's also a good time to check the sump-pump and make sure your gutters and drainage systems are working. We have a Weather Impact Alert Saturday and early Sunday for the rounds of rain.
