Hey guys! In this video I attempt possibly the scariest thing I have ever done… the Harihar fort trek. Harihar fort is located in the Harshewadi village near Nashik in Maharashtra and is famous for being one of the scariest and most dangerous treks in this Indian state. With 80° rock cut steps leading to the top and aggressive monkeys roaming around the fort it is not an easy hike to accomplish. Before completing the trek I found a lot of conflicting information online about how long it would take, the cost to get in, the difficulty level etc. so I decided to clear all of that up in this video. In part 1 you can watch my vlog of the trek where I film myself hiking up to the top of the fort, showing you exactly what it is like along the way. Starting in the village i hike over rocky, slippery, flooded terrain in the middle of monsoon season, before ascending the dangerous and steep rock cut steps to the top of the Indian fort. In the second part of this video I give you all the information you need about the trek in order to complete it yourselves, answering the questions; how much does it cost? How scary is it? How difficult is it? And more.
