Shraddhavan has been an important personality in the story of Auroville, being the founder and vital force of Savitri Bhavan, the building planned and built by her husband architect Helmut, dedicated to the studies about the writings and works of Sri Aurobindo and Mira Alfassa.
She was conducting for years the weekly collective readings of Sri Aurobindo's Savitri, organizing readings, lectures, exhibitions, workshops, concerts and performances inspired to the writings of our Teachers.
In this occasion she has been viewed under her passionate role of a Poet, and this memorial is being offered, with a recitation of some of her poems, and the playing of some tunes on flute, by Gordon Korstange, her long time friend from the early times of a pioneer Auroville.
It happens on January 27, 2023 in Savitri Bhavan, in the Sangham Hall which was inaugurated by Shraddhavan and where she was conducting the Sunday morning collective readings of the poem Savitri.
