Robert Pinkston: Eastside Tigers - Career Retrospective Highlight

This is a career retrospective on the Youth Football career of Robert Pinkston of the Eastside Tigers (Detroit PAL). The clips here are from his C-Team, B-Team & A-Team days. He just recently wrapped up his Youth Football career this past football season (2013). In his PAL days, he was a highlight machine as a RB. Those amazing runs from his C-Team days earned him the nickname "Bush", after current Detroit Lion RB & 2005 Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush. He also wore #5 on the C-Team, just like Reggie Bush did at USC. In his 1st year on the B-Team in 2010, he moved to WR (due to a stacked group of returning RBs, IMHO). He still made an impact that season. A knee injury in his 2nd year on the B-Team in 2011 slowed him down a bit offensively. That injury made him shift mostly to TE. He was still dangerous with the football in his hands. Defensively, he was strong that year, putting the hit on opposing ball carriers. He switched back again to WR on his first A-Team year (2012). In his final year on the A-Team in 2013, his career come full circle. He was once again the feature running back, & also got back to wearing #5 again. He was a beast! He was running past & through defenders on offense, & destroying opposing ball carriers on defense. In all, "Bush" was a three-time champion in Detroit PAL, winning a championship on all three major levels (C-Team in 2009, B-Team in 2011 & A-Team in 2012). This is not a full comprehensive highlight of his career. This is just from the footage I personally shot myself over the years. Though somewhat limited, I think this highlight demonstrates how good a player "Bush" was for the Tigers. Even with only so many games to pick from, I still left out quite a bit of footage. I'm selfishly glad he choose to come back for his final year in PAL. Watching him was a pleasure. On to high school!
