Papal Appointments for Bishop Barthol Barretto and Fr Bernard Lancy Pinto | Archdiocese of Bombay

His Eminence, Oswald Carinal Gracias, Archbishop of Bombay, announces the appointments of Bishop Barthol Barretto as the Bishop of the Diocese of Nasik and Fr Bernard Lancy Pinto as as Coadjutor Bishop of Aurangabad, India.

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Barthol Barretto, until now auxiliary of the archdiocese of Bombay, as bishop of Nashik, India, at the same time relieving him of the titular see of Strongoli.

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Bernard Lancy Pinto, of the clergy of the archdiocese of Bombay, until now parish priest of Saint Michael and dean of the deanery of North Mumbai in India, as coadjutor bishop of Aurangabad, India.
