This week we look at a film celebrating its 40th Anniversary and is one of the big hits from 1985: Peter Weir's WITNESS.

In 1985, Director Peter Weir directed this thriller with one of the biggest stars of the era Harrison Ford. Ford plays Philly Cop John Book who must protect an Amish boy who witnesses a murder. The film is a fish out of water thriller in which Ford has to hide with the Amish, a community he does not fit with. It also stars Kelly McGillis, Danny Glover and a young Lukas Haas. The film was nominated for 8 Academy Awards, has amazing visuals and one of Ford's best performances.
