2024 improvements at Entebbe international Airport

In 2024, Entebbe International Airport is undergoing significant upgrades expected to increase passenger handling and improve facilities to meet international standards. Key improvements include a new 20,000-square-meter terminal, which will increase annual passenger capacity from 2 million to 3.5 million, aligning with rising travel demand. This new terminal, partially opened earlier this year, incorporates accessibility improvements, enhanced security features, and increased space for smoother passenger processing.

The airport has also resurfaced runways and aprons, constructed a modern cargo center, and expanded parking, with work on additional aprons nearing completion.
