The Former District Police Commander for Buyende Muhammed Kirumira has defended himself against charges of unlawful exercise of duty in the Police Disciplinary Court in Naguru. Kirumira’s charges relate to the period when he was the Officer-in-Charge of Nansana Police Station. Final submissions from the prosecution and defendant are to be before Tuesday 27th February 2018 and thereafter court will deliver its ruling. Kirumira is said to have committed the crimes on 9th February 2014.
