Matador Beast vs Freerain (1.0)

Matador updated the Freerain between my filming and posting this review. The older style Freerain (1.0) is shown in this video. The updated bag (2.0) is almost identical in style to the one shown in this video, with some minor updates in materials listed below:

Updates to Freerain (2.0) Advanced Series:
Increase in price of about $35
Reduction in dimensions from 32 to 28 liters
50g increase in weight
Dimensions (1.0): 20” x 11” x 9
Dimensions (2.0): 21.5" x 11" x 8"
Upgraded to YKK zippers and buckles
Fabric upgrade from 30D ripstop to 70D
Ripstop nylon added to bottom
