In this episode I share how I make the lower part of the dovetail joint using my hand tools. There are quite a few options on how to do the dovetail joint, but I have chosen this method for some reason:
⫸ First of all it is beautiful;
⫸ Secondly it helps to prevent any potential rainwater collection between logs (due to downward oriented cuts);
⫸ Lastly when this joint is properly done the logs can’t move to any direction and the whole structure is really solid.
