According to the results of a survey commissioned by Kia, there’s been growing interest in both sustainable living and driving among Canadians during the past months of the pandemic.

Specifically, 79 per cent of Canadians say they feel safest travelling by car, with 38 per cent reporting they’re more conscious of their life choices and impact on the environment compared to at the start of this pandemic.

In this video, we’ll shine some light on the changing transportation habits of Canadians during the pandemic, and how that ties into interest in the electric vehicle (EV) among the population in general. We’ll also look at some of the misconceptions reported by 47 per cent of shoppers who said they wouldn’t consider an EV for their next vehicle, and look at just how many Canadians said they would.
