There has been political turmoil in the state of Maharashtra after NCP supremo Sharad Pawar’s nephew Ajit Pawar switched sides to the Shinde-Fadnavis government along with 9 other MLAs, to become the deputy CM of Maharashtra and left the opposition MVA (Maha Vikas Aghadi) in great disarray. Senior Leader Sharad Pawar said he will get new faces in the party and get more energy to work with him. While conducting a meeting with his camp of the party Sharad Pawar gave a briefing and spoke on the importance of being in touch with the party’s grassroots, connecting with people and society. Upon the rebellion, Sharad Pawar said that “It is a clear and absolute violation of the NCP Constitution. Such actions call for an immediate disqualification.” Sharad Pawar also spoke on the development of education and inculcating it in the youth.
